Activism in LA

There is nothing greater than the freedom of speech in our country. This weekend we saw two events of activism in LA; Occupy LA and The Trespass Parade. Two separate rallies, but both wanting change and improvement within our system.

Occupy LA is a peaceful rally crying out to do something more, than what has been done to fix our economic state. In the U.S. there are too many jobless citizens and the people are crying out to do something about it. Protestors are camping out in front of city hall. Being a peaceful rally, the police have not arrested anybody. There have been no incidents or reports of any disturbances thus far.

Only way to promote and cause change is to take action. That is exactly the message A//Political was stating in the late 90s.  This portion of the lyrics is the strongest message they sent out:
