Life Ruined

A transgender was expelled from California Baptist University's nursing program.The University saw her appearance on the True Life series showing that she was a transgender, and removed her from the school in August. She sees herself as a female, but biologically is a man. She now has to go to Riverside Community College and can not enter the nursing program until Fall. She has to start over once again.


It is discrimination to deny someone their right to an education due to being a transgender. She had denied admission to Cal State San Bernardino to go to California Baptist University. She had received a scholarship to go to the University. The difference between both the Universities are that one is public and another is private, meaning the private University has its own rules and can deny access to anyone, even if its in a discriminatory fashion.
