Secret Sale at Dr. Strange
"I Hate Computers Sale" by Dr. Strange. Their site was having a lot of technical difficulties, so they are in need of lots of orders to make sure the problem is gone. That is why they are taking 15% off everything, just type in "I HATE COMPUTERS" in the shipping comments to receive the discount. Also, when looking for rare records type in KBD to have them all appear on the list!
Dr. Strange's sale is only good until June 6, 2012 at midnight!

Alice Bag
Alice Bag returns to Dr. Strange Records in Alta Loma, CA. She will perform at the store on Saturday, May 26, 2012 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Do not miss it.
Dawn Wirth, world renown 70s punk photographer, will also be at the store. Dawn will bring exclusive limited photo journals of The Bags, circa 1978. The photo journals are 7x7 like a 7' record with 20 vintage pictures. The photo journals will be signed and given with more exclusive postcards and stickers. These are available to order online, leave a comment to have her sign it. You can also order more Alice Bag merchandise at Dr. Strange Records.
After Alice Bag performs, the band Generacion Suicida will be closing the night.

National Record Store Day!
April 21st is the National Record Store day. A couple record stores to visit are TKO Records and Dr. Strange Records. They are both celebrating by giving discounts and having their own specialty and rare selection of records. All merchandise will be 15% off!
If you happen to be near Alta Loma, CA visit Dr. Strange Records or near Fountain Valley, CA visit TKO Records!

Sale.”
When: Feb 18th and 19th (Saturday and Sunday)
How it works: Simple, bring in one item, get 10% off ANYTHING. Two or more items, 15% off ANYTHING!
Dr Strange Records' hint: Go to the $.99 Cent store, grab some supplies,bring them in, and save BIG!
What they need? Clothing, canned goods, small bags of dog food [yes, they do have pets!] toothpaste, etc… It's a good cause so stop by (even if you just want to drop off goods).

Grilled Watermelon!
Today, my brother and I found a 5+ lb watermelon for 87 cents. We could not resist this deal! We were stuck in a quandary when we cracked it open.We had made watermelon smoothies with a quarter of it, another quarter we ate, and another quarter we just stored for a later project (may occur tomorrow or Sunday)What was there to do with the remaining quarter?
We searched for an answer. Looking for anything that was quick and easy to conjure up. We found an intriguing recipe. It sounded odd, but it looked interesting. We decided to make it, and the end result was delicious! Enjoyed the mix of sweet and sour. Check out the recipe and a photograph of it at watermelons!
*Swap out honey with strawberriy jam to keep the same sweetness and consistant texture.*
